H323 external Gatekeeper

I have been requested to "Register" the IP Office with an external H323 Gatekeeper. The gatekeeper requires a unique ID that I cannot put in the IP Office.
Can someone please advise if there is a work around to this problem.

What is the prupose of this, are you trying to register the IPO onto another system or a another device onto the IPO
