on the opticlient softphone we are getting error H.323, any assistance please ?

Did you try changing to a different Codec, or making one the "preferred" codec and allowing an alternate? I'm not way up on my codecs right now so this might be backwards, but I believe I have mine set to prefer 711, which I think it the best one, but to support 729 also. I like to use the best codec in a wired desktop environment, but if you are using a device on wireless and you are set for 711 only, for example, there may be a bandwidth issue that is affecting the call quality and you might want to let it downshift to a lower codec.

Playing with the codec settings would be my first step. From there I would need to have the actual problem and trial and error to see what works.

Thank you where do i set the codecs ? We have installed opticlient on a laptop worked fine and suddenly giving this H.323 error ?

For your phone in question, enter password if needed

Click Manage
Settings
Provider Modules
(HiPath) - whatever yours is called
-> Bandwidth Reduction

-> Codec sequence
I have mine set to "not compressing codecs preferred, besides G.729 preferred"

-> settings below that, mine are:
G.711 20
G.723 20
G.729 20
Jitter 60

Then under Main Connection area I have my security mode set to "None"

Otherwise you would have to look to the switch to see if anything changed. Start with the Station information for that extension number and make sure it's not changed. Beyond that things start to go deeper into the switch than should need to be changed.

Hope one of those things helps.

Thank you as mentioned before it is a softphone that are loaded on a pc

I would check your antivirus/firewall and make sure that the softphone is in the exceptions
