I'm not sure how the H.323, Fax Server and Brooktrout card will interface. We use CCM 4.2 and Cisco CCM2600. Does anyone have a deployment model they can share.

End User WS<->Public Network<->Internal Network<->FaxServer W/1034<->Internal Network<->CCM2600<->PRI<->AVAYA PBX<->PSTN<->Public

This a rough look at what I have

Any help will be gratly apreciated.

Kind Regards,

OK so I see a AVAYA PBX but you say ccm 4.2 in your earlier statement.

Which is it?

Yes..we have both. The VoIP calls route in and out of the AVAYA. Our VoIp system does not have a direct connect to the PSTN.

So you are connecting the Brooktrout to the AVAYA or the CISCO?
What type of Brooktrout card? Analog or Digital?
Either way it will work with the router if you have the right hardware and enough DSP's to support it.

It going to have to be connected to the Cisco Call manager, but when call manager calls out, it call out through the Avaya via PRI.

We're using the digital T1/E1 Brooktrout

I am also in the same situation as MassDeployer. I've got CCM v4.2 and a 3725-V going to a BrookTrout TR1034. I have configured the router as follows:

Blah# config t

Blah(config)# controller t1 2/2
Blah(config-controller)# clock source internal
Blah(config-controller)# framing esf
Blah(config-controller)# linecode b8zs
Blah(config-controller)# cablelength short 133
Blah(config-controller)# pri-group timeslots 1-23
Blah(config-controller)# no shutdown
Blah(config-controller)# exit
Blah(config)# end

The issue I'm stuck with now is that I need to know what to do on the CCM side. Do I need to set these up as CTI route points? If so, where do I direct them to?
