We have a number of users who want the functionality of Outlook and we are using the Outlook connector. I am using this with no ill effects but one user (the head of our entire company, go figure!!) is having a very weird problem.
After outlook was installed the folders in his groupwise went totally haywire. I hope I can describe this accurately - all his cabinet folders were moved to a folder called "saved"; a huge number of new folders were created and appear to be based on the names in the contacts list (so there is a folder for Barney Rubble, Fred Flintstone and everyone else). There is one message contained in each folder that can't be opened. These folders can be deleted one by one but it is time consuming.
I tried doing an Analyze/Fix database with fix problems selected. This made no difference at all. Has anyone else ever seen this and what do we do about it?
