GW6.5 - From: field in email lists different sender !!!

Odd situation just brought to my attention...

UserA sends email to a number of recipients, one of whom is UserB (cc:'d)

UserB notices that the FROM: field says UserB(UserA)

Just like I've typed it - the primary name is NOT the person whose mailbox sent the email, yet that person's name appears in parenthesis after the other name.

Looking at the Sent properties in UserA's mailbox, it says the message was created by her, but again shows the From: as UserB(UserA)

What in the world? Any ideas?

That is a puzzler - but I would probably start with a top-down rebuild just to see if the problem goes away.
