GW5.5 Remote and Win2000 Pro TAPI services corruption.

I've had two instances of GW5.5 Remote corrupting the Win2000 Pro TAPI subsystem. In both cases it was caused by trying to create a new location I was dialing from e.g Office and Home.&nbsp;&nbsp;This corruption caused all dial up connections to cease working and generate many &quot;Dr Watson&quot; captures every time I try to connect.&nbsp;&nbsp;I've found a TID that describes this, but there is no workaround other than Novell's suggestion of reinstalling Win2000.&nbsp;&nbsp;Novell's TID # is 10052839.<br><br>Has anyone else experieced this and does anyone know how fix this without a full reload of the OS?<br><br>Thanks,<br>Charlie

When Windows 2000pro is installed ie on a oem machine It's preinstalled, many times the OS is not installed correctly I've had many instances where the OS behaved poorly on a preinstalled machine. Make sure that the Os is properly installed and the New MAPI componets are installed correctly, on you version of NT. I have not Had any sucess repairing a 2000 box without reinstalling. The System is too protected and get corrupt with changes made to it.
