GW will not initiate after Office XP install 2

I have recently loaded Office XP onto my PC. Since this, I have not been able to log on to groupwise. Although I can't see Groupwise, Notify appears to work, however when I try and look at a email through Notify, the system hangs and I eventually get a fatal exception error 176F:00001AA8.

I've tried unistalling and reinstalling Groupwise to no avail. Does anyone have any ideas?

I had this problem when we installed Office 2000.

I had to copy a correct version of mapi32.dll and make sure microsoft mail was there.

Maybe it will work for you.

I am having the same problem and am not sure where to copy the mapi32.dll from. Am i correct in assuming i am copying from the office xp cd?

Copy mapi32.dll from a computer that is working.
