When remotely retrieving mail, how can the Trash folder be configured to retrieve items that were deleted? Thanks!

If the message was deleted by the Remote User, and the User HAS NOT dialed back into GroupWise, the message can be retrieved by logging in to GroupWise from a Network workstation because the User has yet to re-syncronize with the GroupWise system. If the user has already dialed back in to the GroupWise system and HAS completed a syncronization of their Mailbox, the message(s) is GONE, GONE, GONE!!!!

Good Luck

Thanks! So if it was deleted (in the Trash) within the Master System, it becomes iretrievable? Like, GONE?! No way to retrieve it remotely? Please confirm.

Also, from my previous post: How can text be cleared from the Find box, and how can the requests be cleared as well?

If the message was deleted within GroupWise (NOT GW Remote), the message would still be sitting in the Users Trash, at least until the Trash was emptied manually, or by Auto Empty of the Trash (which is set for 7 days by default).

Your questions about clearing text from the FIND box and clearing requests, please elaborate. Which FIND are we speaking about and how are you trying to use it, and what requests are you trying to clear?

Please advise!

Good Luck!
