GW 5.5 attachment hang

When attempting to attach a file in a new message, Outside In viewer pops up, begins loading and subsequently hangs the program. This was after a new install - GW 5.5 Win 98SE. Does not occur on different workstation. Tried synching the user database, maintenance and reinstall to no avail. Is there a way to disable the Outside In viewer? Any ideas would be appreciated.

What service pack? What is client version? When you re-installed client did you use the GW cleaning agent? see:

And, yes, I did use the cleaning agent before reintsalling.

I should have been more explicit, I meant what ver & sp is GW? What is GW client version?
