A GVC SF-1156HV-R19 modem identifies itself from the ATI3 line as
V2.065-K46_DLP, and that firmware was flashed 3 years ago, and replaced the original firmware, which was a version of K56FLEX
I would like to try firmware version
V90.S37
from the gvc.com.tw website.
After the modem was detected by the firmware installation program, the existing firmware
V2.065-K46_DLP
was backed up in a file by the program,
but the modem was 'unrecogized' by the program, which added a question mark, '?', to the 'LOAD' button, as in 'LOAD ?'
The FlashCom Firmware Uploader program's help page advised that the question mark could mean that the modem's firmware 'cannot or should not be upgraded.
The firmware was flashed to the current version 3 years ago, by me, but could pushing the 'LOAD ?' button this time kill this modem?
Thanks for your advice.
