Gutter Margins

is there a way in PCL to override the gutter margin...
how about changing the margin .5?
left margin specifically

thanks so much

i have a form that for some unknown reason starting printing 1/2 character over (site claims nothing changed and i haven't touched the program)...

i need to override the gutter margin (margin is set to 0 in program) .5 characters to the left

any ideas?

In PCL the sheet offset command will move the page left or right.
<esc>&l###U

That is a lower case L BTW.

Where ### is a value in 1/720ths per inch. Positive values move the print to the right and negative values move the print to the left. If the value is large enough, you may push the print past the clip limit in which case the print will be clipped.

Be aware, though, that the effect is reversed on the back side of a duplex page.

To move the print up and down...

<esc>&l###Z

Positive values push the print down and negative values move it up.

All this assumes portrait orientation for direction of movement.
