GUIDES/GRIDS WON'T SHOW UP 1

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE.

Is my document krupt or am i missing something?

i cannot get my grids or my guides to turn on. they dissapeared sometime while i was working - could have been a mistaken key command or ??? might have been while switching views.

Have you tried going to View in the top menu bar and from the drop down options selecting Show Guides/Show Document Grid?

yes, i've tried that.

the guides will not turn on. nor will the grid, when i try to whether with key commands or in the drop downs. it only happens in this one file. that's why i wonder.

Check the bottom of your toolbar...you're probably in Preview mode...to see your grids and guides, switch back to Normal mode. Preview doesn't display anything that won't print.
