I had to do this once for work, and now I'm going on another trip. I believe last time I did this:

1. Uninstalled the previous version of our software.
2. When into add/remove programs and installed the latest version from there.
3. Manually deleted each user's shortcuts to the old program and created a new one on their desktop via ghosting.

And I think that's it. Is there something missing in the above steps? Unfortunately I don't have a test or live citrix server here at work so I can't try it out :(. Thanks for your help!

Make sure you change the user to install mode before add/remove and then back to execute when done.

Add/Remove does put it into install mode. There is a command line way, but Add/Remove does the same thing.

Well, Like I said - it works the same way.
If you have experienced adding an app through Add/Remove programs at the console, and it does not install for the users - then your Server is having other issues.

If you search for Instlling programs - you will find threads that back up what I am saying.
See thread48-37688

Yea i'm pretty sure you can use Add/Remove programs to do the install. I did it that way and it worked. The guy that told me how to do it didn't really explain so I'm glad I found out the reason!!!

So I guess what I remembered is exactly what I need to do??? Thanks!
