Hi Guys ,

I have 2 questions. I am on Sybase 10.X.X on Solaris.

1) Is there any GUI tool which I can use from desktop to work with the Sybase database , something like TOAD for Oracle.

2) There is Numeric data type and money data type. Which is used more for money values ? whats the advantage they have on each other ?

Regards

1) In my experience Embarcadero's DBArtisan is a wonderful tool for most of the RDBMS mainly for MS SQL and Sybase

2) Money is used when you want to store monetory fields. It rounds up your input values to two decimal places when it displays. But Numeric is something like double...

Cheers,

Ravi
