has anyone used the gui interface for ipx office, we are new to tadiran and hope it is going to be a helpful tool for programming

Yes I have....The CVD program works well, but procom is easier. I did create a scaled down doc for training....

thanks for advice

i would be grateful for any docs or downloads available

CVD and CVA are really to be used by the customer, not the tech. As metballnut said, Procomm is a lot easier and much, much quicker.

If you ask for support from Tadiran (US, Israel or anywhere else) they will ask you lots of things from the PI as they don't use CVD either. Command line gives you access to much more. If you want to use it, feel free but you should be more proficient in command line.

CVD has it's goos points eg ability to swap xtns, but it's slow. Once you know what you're doing it's much much quicker to do it by command line.
