I guess I should start off asking can you use Samba for Linux to Linux file copies?

I have Samba installed and from the Linux box I can get to the Windows machines and from the Windows machines I can see the Linux box, but not the other Linux machines.

I have searched and searched but have not found where this use was ever explained in detail. For the users sake I didn't want to use command line solutions such as FTP and was hoping to use some kind of GUI application.

Any suggestions?

Thanks,

Since you say "Linux box" (singular), is Samba installed on all Linux computers? It should work.

You can also use NFS for remote mounts.
