Guest Works is setting an admin phone as a guest phone

I currently have a client with a Intuity audix/ Intuity lodging setup on the same box. The client wanted to place broadcast messages to their guests. We setup the IT admins phone as the Guestworks lodging admin to test broadcast messages which worked well but it made the voicemail think their extension is a guest extension. The problem is after we setup a different phone as the guestworks admin the voicemail still thinks the IT phone is a guest phone and anwsers with the Lodging guest greeting system when dialing his extension. The COS and COR are the same as they were brfore we made any changes to the phone. Any ideas as to what to do to put this extension back in the admin voicemail system ?

Remove the IT phone from Lodging and add it back into Audix.
Create an x port station as the Lodging admin phone and put a bridged appearance of it on the phone you want to use as the administrator. Then add this extension to Lodging administrator.
