Guest Mail Box in a Partner Mail VS R4.1 1

I have been reading about Guest Mail boxes in a Partner Mail VS R4.1. Is it true you can assign a guest mail box using the extensions in the slot populated with the Partner Mail VS module? For example I have a Partner II. The voice Mail module resides in Slot 4 of the expansion carrier. Those mail boxes are 52 through 57. I can assign as many as six guest mail boxes? How is that possible, when you assign extensions 54 through 57 to interface the Partner II to the voice mail module?

Yup, you can do it. As long as you also assign Auto VMS Cover (#310), when the calls arrives it will come with the correct mode codes to handle the call properly. If you have a Partner II, you can assign any extension number from 10 to 57, in a Partner Plus it's 10 through 33, even though the VS mail will go all the way to 57.
