Hi can anyone help me?

I am looking at an application that needs to access a GSM system via a land-line and use the USSD codes to initiate services and send (non-sms) messages to mobile users and other terminals, again on a fixed line, connected to the GSM network.

I only seem to be able to find details of USSD usage from the perspective of a mobile handset or as an application that sits on a PC and connects to the GSM network using an air interface. I'm fairly certain it is a service that can be set-up by a direct land-line (or dialed land-line) connection to the MSC and am trying to work out if I need to either use a BRI/PRI/SIP interface and send the USSD via D-Channel/SIP or can it be done with simple DTMF?
