GSM Gateway Recomendations

I have setup a couple of GSM Gateways in the past but they have all taken a long time to connect to mobilephones. Like 10+ seconds long.

Just wondering what the best brand GSM Gateway is to use that doesn't lag so much when trying to call a mobile.
