GS04 date format 1

Does anyone know where in Gentran to select the date format for GS04 to 8 vs 6 characters?

This is set on the GSBuild map. The default install map is GSBLDX.map. In the more recent versions there is an extended rule on this to covert it to 8 characters if the version ix x12 003072 or later. Which version of gentran are you curretnly using?

All my maps are in version 4010 on Gentran 3.1. All of the dates in GS04 are 8 characters for all maps except one. One of my maps, when I translate creates a 6 character date in GS04 and I can't figure out why, or how to fix it.
