Grub - booting single user mode

does anyone know how to get grub to boot into single user mode in Red Hat 7.2?

I'm used to doing it from lilo -> "linux 1"

Hi,

You are supposed to be able to do it as follows :

highlight 'linux' on the bootable images list.

press 'e' twice (to edit entry)

type 'single' on the end of the command line & press enter

then press 'b' to boot
