Growing a text box and bringing to front

I have a text box on a report and the source is a memo field. The text box is set to can shrink and can grow and on the report the box is physically above a subreport.

When I have a large memo I want the text box to show "in front" of the subreport but at the moment if the memo is large the text box only shows half of the text.

I have tried the send to back and move to front but it does not seem to work. Any ideas please

You should be able to see the entire memo on the report. A couple things to check: Is your textbox big enough? Is the "Can Grow" property of your text box set to yes?
