I placed a subreport on the page footer and set the subreport property to grow (could not select
property value '0' for unlimited lines). The subreport displays the value, but don't show all lines if there are multiple lines in the sub-report. If I make the footer section larger, then I can view the full subreport. I thought the footer section would auto expand if the subreport grows, it remains fixed now. I could not find grow property for page footer.
How can I fix this problem so that if the subreport grows, then display the full subreport and also
be able to select '0' value (grow unlimited lines) for sub-report ? Thanks.

A page footer generally isn't a good place for a subreport as it will repeat on every page, try the report footer if you want it at the end of the report.

If not, demonstrate how you intend the report to look, and include the Crystal version, or you may be better served to demonstrate data and expected output.

I am using Crystal ver. 8.5.
I want the sub-report to repeat on every page, so it's on page footer section.

For example, I have page footer section a & b. The sub-report is on main report's page footer a.
The sub-report displays comments line by line. I checked the sub-report grow property
(though I couldn't select the value '0' for unlimited lines) since the sub-report can have
many comments as below.

eg. timberwolves
lakers
sixers
San Antonio
dallas mavericks
raptors

Now, I thought the page footer section would auto expand to accomodate as many comments if the comments
list (sub-report) continue to grow, but it doesn't. Currently I just see:

timberwolves
lakers

but when I increase the height of the page footer section, then it displays all

timberwolves
lakers
sixers
San Antonio
dallas mavericks
raptors

How can I display all sub-report comments without adjusting the main-report's page footer section height?
Thanks.
