Groupwise With External Mail

I am useing groupwise 5.5 to send and receive external mail through border manager. I am haveing no trouble receiveing mail but i can not send any mail with the border manager filters on. If anyone would or could help I would appreciate it very much.

There are a number of TID's on support.novell.com that tell you what ports need to be open for the gwia to send mail out of a bordermanager server. just query gwia AND bordermanager. Lee Smith

You should have to open Port 25 (SMTP) in your filter list both in and out. I have port 25 open through my Cisco PIX to my GWIA and it runs fine......
