using the Groupwise Web Access on GW 5.5, Users are not able to view attachments. The message that is displayed is "Not Available - Unable to view attachment". I think this is occurring whenever the user receives a message formatted as html.
We were never able to get "View Attachments" to work properly with WebAccess. We trained our users to save the attachment to their computer and open it from there.
This may be the easiest path for you to take.
