In Outlook you can backup emails into pst file then burn to a CD media. Is there a method comparable to this in Groupwise?

Thanks

The closest you can get with out the use of third party products is an archive.

It is not a single file like a pst, but a set of files. It is also not as easy as a pst file that you can transport to any computer and simply open. You can transport an archive, but to open it you would need an authenticated client using the same user ID that created the archive. In essence, it is secured. The security is based on the FID (File ID) of a GroupWise user account. You can use a FID editor to change the FID, but you still need an authenticated GroupWise account to open it (online, cache, or remote mode)
