Hi.

Running Metaframe 1.8 in a Win2K server environment.

We recently published Groupwise 6 and can log into and access the Groupwise client. The problem arises when the user tries to do anything. Clicking "new mail" , etc generates the following message:

Groupwise cannot find the view 'u:\USML_S1.VEW'. Choose a new default mail
view in Options.

In "Options" there are two views: "Mail" and "Mail (simple)". Switching between them produces the same error message.

Any suggestions as to what's going on? (I don't even have mapped drives to drive "u")

TIA for any help.

Mark

GroupWise uses the USML_S1.VEW any time you open your mail, read mail, etc. For some reason, by default, it's trying to open this file on your U drive. You can fix this by adding a line in the target of the GroupWise shortcut, should look something like this, d-I:\your path\%UserName%, replace I: with whatever drive you want the USML_S1.VEW files stored on.
