I have a user with GW5.2 client and Office 2000 (Outlook). The user is NOT using Outlook for e-mail. I have read TID 10010521 but that document pertains to NT4 workstation and my user is Win98SE. Can anyone help me kill the Exchange Server prompt?

Check the Mail icon under the Control Panel in W98, then click show profiles. See if Novell is listed as the default profile.

You need to check your properties for Mail under Control Panel. That user has the Exchange Agent setup in their profile. If you simply remove the Exchange Agent, all problems will go away!
