Help!
GroupWise email between my users is not working properly. If one starts to type First Last of the person you want to send email to, GroupWise finishes the typing after a few letters and then when the message is sent... it gets through.
If you type the full email address formatted as user@company.com (such as one would for an external email address), it fails and two error messages are returned to the sending user.
I can see that GroupWise seems to think that this is an external email address and hands it off to GWIA. GWIA logs an error message: 550 not local host company.com, not a gateway while attempting to send the message out.
One of the error messages the user gets has the same message and another has: DATA503 must have sender and recipeant first. The POA (GW 5.2) is running on one server (NW 5.0) and the GWIA is running on another (NW 4.11). How can I get the POA to realize that this is really internal mail and not to even attempt the use of the GWIA?
This all may or may not be related to the fact that sometimes external email can't get in (it does 95%+) and when it doesn't a similar error message is sent back to the sender.
Any brilliant thoughts will be greatly appreciated. Thanks...
