Hi Folks,

I'm just beginning planning for a GW6.5 implementation. Here's my scenario:

- I have 9 physical locations

My tree looks something like this:

TREE
|--- location 1
|
|--- location 2
|
|--- location 3
|
|--- location 4
|
|--- location 5
|--- location 6
|--- location 7
|--- location 8
|--- location 9

notes:
- each location has its own file server
- locations 5-9 are located under location 4 in the tree
- again, all locations are at physically different locations, all with a WAN link (approx. 1/2 T1 speed at each location, with all locations' WAN links heading back to location 1)
- I am the main administrator of the system, and I'm located in location 1
- location 1 has 45 users
- location 2 has 900 users
- location 3 has 1200 users
- location 4 has 360 users
- location 5 has 350 users
- location 6 has 325 users
- location 7 has 350 users
- location 8 has 350 users
- location 9 has 325 users

goals:
- I want to simplify administration
- I want to simplify implementation of the system
- Assume this is a new installation and that no e-mail system currently exists

Any ideas how many domains, and where they should be placed?
How many post offices & placement?

For reliability I would place a single domain at each location that has a server. Each domain will have a single post office, but site 2 should have two post offices and site 3 should have three.
