Notify stops working quite suddenly about 12 months after install
Groupwise working fine

Run Notify.exe from Windows Explorer

"Cannot find Groupwise"

Any suggestions as to where to start looking??

the exe is grpwise.exe

your post is a bit cryptic though. ie the version of netware is irrelevant to groupwise

From Novell.com

"Notify is a program that works with GroupWise to alert you when you have new items placed in your mailbox, when your outgoing items are opened, or when you have an upcoming appointment.

When Notify is running, Notify icon appears on your Windows taskbar. "

We understand what Notify is, the point was that it has nothing to do with Netware (Since GroupWise can run on Windows, NetWare, or Linux - it's cross platform).

If it's not working, it's most likely a botched workstation install. Just reinstall the GroupWise client and it should put things back together. If you are using the GroupWise client from a shared network location, you can check to make sure that no permissions have changed and that the network resource is available.
