In Groupwise 4 we were able to create a custom mail view using the designer and then open the view in groupwise, adjust properties (make it low priority, etc), and save the view.

Now, in 5.5, though we have located the designer and can create custom mail views, we have not determined how to save Properties with the view.

Is this possible in GW 5.5?
Any help is appreciated..

Send the view to yourself, then open the mail & save it as a view somewhere.
You will be asked to name the view.
Open the new mail tab & the view you saved will now be displayed, containing the settings you set.

Hope this helps
Si

Thank you for your help.
I believe I have followed your steps to the letter in Groupwise 5.5, but I'm not able to save settings such as expiration date and low priority.

To clarify, do you mean send the view to myself as an attachment, open it and then set the properties?

Thank you very much for your assistance. I'm very perplexed.

No What you need to do is send the view to yourself as an email ie. if your name is simon@mail.po send it to the same name. The mail should rather quickly appear in your mail box.

Now open the mail & save it as a view somewhere( C:\ or your default views Dir).
You will be asked to name the view.
Open the new mail tab & the view you saved will now be displayed, containing the settings you set.

Regards
Si
