I have a 12+ site groupwise project. There is one gateway for the GWIA and all of the other branches will be connected to this site via T1.

My question is should I have one Domain with 12+ PO's or one Primary Domain with 12+ Secondary Domains w/ PO's? What is better for the utilization?

My personal config would be.

1. Create a Primary domain with no postoffices ( This is so any admin messages go quicker and not be held up by user emails etc.
2. Create a secondary domain for the GWIA, again no postoffice.
3. Create secondary domains for each remote site, each with however many postoffices underneath.
4. You then have the choice of linking each domain to send messages to each domain or via the main site. This depends on the config of your comms. Also bear in mond if all the remote sites send through one domain, if something happens to that domain/server then no remote offices will be able to send to other offices.

I try and link each office so it sends direct to the receiving domain. Also, sending direct to the GWIA domain.

The advantage of creating a domain at each site is that admin for the groupwise domain is quicker from the remote site but can also be performed from head office.

Hope this helps rather than confudsing you. If you need anymore info don't hesitate to email me.
