Groupwise client 7 read error

One of our clients has a strange fault on her groupwise client.
Groupwise does start, she reads mail and want to answer. By clicking the reply button groupwise stops working. Groupwise is already several times uninstalled and installed. Now the problem is back again.

Does anybody has an idea?

What version / date of the GroupWise 7 client are you using?

Version of groupwise is 7.0.0.164
Is running on a laptop Windows XP Prof.

I would recommend downloading and installing the latest GroupWise client as well as patching your system on the backend. There is a hotpatch that fixed some security issues, but besides that, it appears you are running either the original GW7 client or very close to it (I don't recognize that version number specifically)... There were lots of bugs fixed in SP1 and SP2.

Also you may try to see if the user has the same problem on other machines, it might be something wrong with her mailbox on the server... you could run a GWcheck on the post office and correct any issues there.
