gw 5.5.4
I ran a gwcheck structure check on one of our post offices - as it started checking, the system began regurgitating old messages - many users received old messages (e.g. several months old) in their mailbox, and thousands of messages were queued to be sent out to internet.
This is scary enough, but it turns out that some of these messages were never before seen by the recipients.
Can anyone explain why this might have happenened, where these old messages are sitting, and how I can flush them out without causing widespread user panic. ??
