GroupWise 7 WebAccess

When user tries to reply or forward in WebAccess a new browser session starts and displays the Webaccess login screen again. She is unable to use this product as it now functions.

She is using IE 6.0.2900.2180, Cipher 128 bit

I have gone through the Novell knowledgebase and recreated her personal address books, have adjusted every setting I can think of in her browser and still this problem remains.

Anxiously waiting for a solution to this problem. Thanks.

Have you tried the latest version of the GW files from Novell. I bet they would tell you to install the FTF files on you 7 server. I think d is the latest version. Good luck!

I've seen similar things as what you are saying... when you try to do something, you get your main login screen embedded into your page and no matter what you do it never works. You gotta close your browser and log back in, right? Does it have anything to do with sitting idle for a while or does it happen every time?

I know there are a lot of buggy things about it and like britcr says, there are some FTF's that go a long way.

What I finally discovered was this user had some weird stuff loading (msconfig revealed it), ipod and other music stuff. Once I removed these from the startup, rebooted and tried the webmail again it was fine (for the record what it was doing is:
Click on Reply or Forward
a new browser session would open at the login screen
Login and back to the list of mail

Thanks for the input.

Received another message from the user, this was happening AGAIN. I connected remotely and noticed the qttask was running (I had removed it the other day along with some other suspicious apps and un-selected in using msconfig). I unloaded qttask, reloaded the browser and went back into webmail. Reply/forward is working once again.
