Groupwise 6 SMP switches

We are running Groupwise 6 SP1 on Netware 5 SP6a.

We noticed that the MTA and POA have a "/nosmp" flag (see TID 10070461 for POA). /nosmp is currently commented out in the MTA and missing from the POA.

According to

it seems that you can turn on SMP with "/smp"

Does this mean that the GWIA will not use SMP unless this switch is enabled?

I don't know about Webaccess and any SMP switches.

Could I enable SMP on all Gwise components (POA, MTA, Webaccess) and disable it for GWIA, as the GWIA is locking up under SMP?
