Groupwise 6 client 1

I upgraded the novell client to 4.9 on a WinXP pro machine and now when I login the groupwise client comes up but asks for my password but it will not take it and says incorrect password.

When I had the 4.8 client on the machine groupwise worked fine but other stuff did not hence the upgraded client.

Any ideas.

Idea: Your trying to use your NDS password.

The NDS password and the GroupWise password or different. You can not sync them. You can however tell GroupWise not to ask for a password when your are authenticated to NDS on the workstation your accessing GroupWise from.

Ask your mail admin to just clear your password, will be the easier solution.

This is not an issue with the older novell client. Is it a setting on the client or through console one?

We experienced a similar problem and was able to find the fix for it. You might want to see if this TID adresses your particular problem.
