Groupwise 6 and IE 6 Default mail client... 1

I work for a company that uses images to install workstations. The problem we are experiencing is that when we install Groupwise 6 after installing Internet Explorer 6 we loose the option in IE6 to choose Groupwise as the default mail client. Under Tools, Internet Options, Programs the only email choices are Hotmail and Outlook.

This was not the case with Groupwise 5.5, and upgrading Groupwise 5.5 to 6 seems to fix the problem. But a fresh install of Groupwise 6 over IE6 is where we are having the problem. Anyone seen this or have a fix?

The following TID descibe the issues that you are having. It also says that the workaround is to install GW55 first, then upgrade it to GW6...
