GroupWise 6.5x
Windows 2000, XP
Some of our users are complaining that their Caching mailboxes are not synchronizing properly.
1. Set up GroupWise Caching mailbox for a user and do the initial syncronizing (Priming)
2. Over an unknown period of time, the user switches back and forth between Online and Caching/ or Remote mailboxes.
3. Sometime later, the user complains that the Caching mailbox has messages that were deleted a long time ago from the Online mailbox. This may go back many months. (The Caching mailbox has more messages than the Online mailbox).
4.Retrieving the entire caching mailbox did not fix the problem.
5. Running a repair on the online, caching, & remote mailboxes from the G/W client did not fix the problem.
My mailbox also has this problem, although it doesn't bother me that much. My Caching inbox has 17 more messages that the online one. 139 v.s. 122 messages.
Any suggestions are appreciated.
Thanks,
