GroupWise 6.5 SP1 Changing Folders Slow

Opening e-mails is fine, but if you switch from your mailbox view to your Sent Items folder, it takes up to 15 seconds and the little globe is spinning saying "retrieving items". This happens for multiple users that have gotten the 6.5 client. However, if I log into my mailbox using the 6.0 client, I don't experience this problem.

Any suggestions - client side or server side?
 
My suggestion: Run maintenance (analyze/fix databases) on affected user's mailboxes. Be sure to select "Structure" and "Fix Problems" with "Update user disk space totals". Actually, it wouldn't hurt to run it with all the options selected, but it will take longer to complete.

After that, have the user delete or archive old messages. As a rule, I usually have users delete or archive anything that is older than 6 months. If their mailbox (especially "Sent Items") has a lot of items in it then, naturally, it will run slower.

In fact, I have my mailbox set up to automatically archive anything older than 183 days (6 months). I figure, if I haven't deleted it by then, I probably need to hang on to it. I periodically delete my "Sent Items" archive too.

I have had some success running maintenance on mailboxes to get them to speed up.
