Groupwise 5.5 User can't recieve mail

Hi

I have 50 users running on a Compaq Proliant server running under NetWare 5.1 Small Business Server.

When I create a new user and assign a Groupwise mailbox to that user, the user can send out E Mail without problems but cannot receive mail from outside.

All of the existing users can send and receive mail without problems.

I have run GWCHECK from NWADMIN for a user with the problem and for the Post Office.

The log generated for the user is clean but the log for the Post Office indicates a load of "Problem 39- Unknown file 4MH288G9.2E0- 36 bytes, 09/10/03 13:06
- File is too recent- will not be deleted" errors.

Does this indicate a structural problem in the Groupwise database?

If so how can I fix it?

Any help gratefully received.

no this means that when you run gwcheck it creates db as .dba then next .dbd and so on
the system will delete these automatically in 2 weeks

never really used small biz

how does the gwia work - put in on verbose logging and send an email externally from there account and watch it go through gwia then send them a message from hotmail and watch what happens when it comes in

the gwia will have a prob dir and you may see it go in there
