Groupwise 5.5 and Outlook 2002 Froze !

Hi, I installed Compaq iPAQ which requires Outlook2002 be installed. We have Groupwise5.5 running on this XP machine. After I loaded Outlook, both Groupwise and Outlook froze when you start them. I applied the Novell Plug-ins, still no luck! Please advise!

as far as im aware, the groupwise plugin only works with 98 and 2000 - but having said that, i have seen it working with xp, but i've no idea how, as it wasnt my system, unfortunately!

Thanks for reply Dogers! I also loaded Winntwms from Novell, still got theh same issue. You mentioned that GW5.5 works fine with 2000? Please advise! Thanks again

if you install outlook 2000 then the groupwise plugin for it, itll work fine

We have never had any luck running GW (any version) with Outlook (any version) on the same machine. We always delete Outlook if someone has istalled it by accident and then reinstall GW.

ooh, sorry, what am i on about

iirc, if you install groupwise first, then outlook, you then need to reinstall groupwise over the top!

i believe thats how i've had it done before
