Groupshield v6.0 on windows 2k3

Hello,
I am having a problem getting alerts to emailed to the email address setup in Groupshield. I do not have alert Manager load on the Exchange server nor did I do any configuring with Groupshield on the Exchange server. I have done I all of the configurating on the server that is has the repository and all of the other Mcafee softerware.

I am currently running Exchange 2003 with Groupshield 6 as a new install.

Can anyone help me?
