I'm using 8.5 and need to list parameters that have not had results entered for a given time frame. There are a couple of hundred parameters of which about 25 are considered metals. The user does not want to list each of the metals individually but group them as "metals" and on the report list the information like:

[refTask] [samp date] [comments]
Sodium 1/1/09 comments
ph 1/1/09 comments
metals 1/1/09 comments

arsenic 1/2/09 comments
metals 1/2/09 comments

etc.

where metals is really a composite of the 25 metals they want grouped.

How do I print the composite "metals" and not the individual metals on the report?
Thanks

Hi,
One way would be to cteare a formula like:

If refTask in ['list','of','those','metals'..] then
'metals' else
refTask

Group on this formula instead of the reftask field itself.
