I am using a table Estimates
from that table I have created a Group1 for Estimates.TeamKey and Group2 for Estimates.Type then on details i have Estimates.RecordDate Estimates.Amt

So my current data looks like

Team 1
AWE
1/3/04 40
1/3/04 50
AII
1/3/04 33
1/3/04 23
1/3/04 100

Total 246

Team 2
AWE
1/3/04 40
1/3/04 50
AII
1/3/04 33
1/3/04 23
1/3/04 100
Total 246

But I want my data to like as below
-------------------------------------------------
Team 1
AWE
1/3/04 40
1/3/04 50
Total 90

Team 2
AII
1/3/04 33
1/3/04 23
1/3/04 100
Total 156

--------------------------------------------------------

Please Advice...
Thanks

It sounds like you don't want all of the data you're collecting. Best to drop it during selection.

Do a formula field, say @Team1Test
Code:
Team = 1 and {something} = AWE
Put this beside the data, to check it does work as you want it to.

Then in your selection statement say (@Team1Test or @Team2Test)

If you need the other data for other parts of the report, you could use a simialr method for group selection.

I am sorry but I dont understand what you want me to do...
And besides I have more than 2 teams...The Table can have n number of teams....

Hi,
Your request is a little ambiguous:

If Each Team can have AWE and AII, then Both of those will show up in the Each Team group..Why, in your desired output, are you not showing the AII for team 1 nor the AWE for Team 2?

AWE is the Estimate Type and the Dates and the Amounts are Estimate Items for each Team.

Team 1 has Estimate Type AWE with two amounts 40 and 50
Team 2 has Estimate Type AII with amounts 33,23,100
I can have
Team 3 having Estimate Type AWE with amounts 20,22,23
Team 4 having Estimate Type AWE with amounts 34, 55, 13

ans so on...

Team 1
AWE
1/3/04 40
1/3/04 50
AII
1/3/04 33
1/3/04 23
1/3/04 100
AWE
1/4/05 20
1/3/05 22
1/3/05 23

Total 321

Team 2
AWE
1/3/04 40
1/3/04 50
AII
1/3/04 33
1/3/04 23
1/3/04 100
AWE
1/4/05 20
1/3/05 22
1/3/05 23

Total 321

Team 3
AWE
1/3/04 40
1/3/04 50
AII
1/3/04 33
1/3/04 23
1/3/04 100
AWE
1/4/05 20
1/3/05 22
1/3/05 23

Total 321
---------------------------------------------
Desired Output:

Team 1
AWE
1/3/04 40
1/3/04 50
Total 90

Team 2
AII
1/3/04 33
1/3/04 23
1/3/04 100
Total 156

Team 3
AWE
1/4/05 20
1/3/05 22
1/3/05 23
Total 65
----------------------------------------------
Thanks

Hi,
Still seems contradictory:
If your current output is as described:( sample follows)

Code:
Team 1
      AWE
         1/3/04 40
         1/3/04 50
      AII
         1/3/04 33
         1/3/04 23
         1/3/04 100
      AWE
         1/4/05 20
         1/3/05 22
         1/3/05 23

      Total 321

Then it appears that Team 1 has AWE ( twice) and AII
( assuming your Grouping is correct)
You can, if it what you really want, supress all but AWE info is the team is not Team1 , but that distorts what appears to be your data.

Again, it Team1 has AWE and AII ( again, according to your current format) why do you want to NOT show anything but AWE?

SuperTime, I've already given you two methods of supressing unwanted groups. If you have more than two teams, then make extra rules.
