Grouping Question

Hi

I am using CR 9. When I group by a field say Maturity, the grouping does not work.

Backend Database returns 40K rows. Maturity has values <= 1 Year, > 1 and <= 3 Years, >3 & <= 5 years, > 5 years.

Why does the grouping by the column not work and still return the same result set without grouping?

In what way does it not work? Is the Maturity field coming from a second table? If so, how is the table linked to other tables? Can maturity ever be null?
