Good Afternoon,

I have completed a report and have found the proper data to be displayed on the report. There are 2 Groups in the report. In the Group Header of Group 2 is essentially all my detailed data. Groups 1's Header is hidden. Then in the footer of Group 1 I have a Running Count displayed. At the time when everything is open my final item displays that there is 4,450 items that meet the criteria of my report. I exported the data to Excel and confirmed that this number is correct. I then try to suppress/hide the detailed data in the Group Header of 2 and my report then shows me that there are only 4,381 items that meet my criteria. For some reason at each new page there is a repeat of a previous number. So whatever the final number on the previous page is will be displayed as the first number on the new page. There are 70 pages worth of data.

So my first question I have would be how can I show the 4,450 items in the Report Footer so that I can hide everything? (When I currently move the count formula to the report footer its displays 1)
If the above question is not possible how do I make the 4,450 display properly and not show 4, 381?

Many Thanks!

Please explain the exact setup of the running total. Also identify the fields you are grouping on.

What version of CR are you using?

You mention that there is a repeat of a previous number at the beginning of each new page--are you referring to the running total in the GF#2 section? Do you have "repeat group header on each page" set for either group?
