I have a group that only pulls back certain data for a record (memo type) I did this by using the specified order and eliminating all others. Unfortunately it is eliminating the entire record if it doesnt have the specific group I have identified. If I eliminate the specified order then it pulls back all the data applicable to that record which is not productive for this report. Any advice for a work around would be appreciated. I am using crystal 8.5 Terri Mimbs

It isn't clear why you're using specified order grouping to get rid of records you don't need as opposed to using the selection criteria, or conditional suppressions. Can you give an example of what you mean?

I have an account that has several documents associated with it, But I only want to see a specific document if its there. If the account meets other criteria (not associated with the document) then I want to see it , since dates are associated with this document and I needed to see them in desc order I also had to creat a group for the status dates. Why not create a Group based on formula where your formula clearly specifies the group you want to see OR create a Record selection formula limiting your Memo field with a specific criteria.
